- Backlog — The "not-yet-started pool" for tasks that have not been started and are only in the requirements-gathering or planning stage.
- Ready — Task preparation is complete (requirements confirmed, dependencies resolved); ready for a developer to pick up and start.
- In progress — Task is actively being developed or executed by a team member.
- In review — Development is complete; task is in code review, requirements verification, or product acceptance. Also used for tasks that need to be compiled and submitted to the GitHub repository (e.g., everyone's game ideas consolidated into one).
- Done — Task has passed all reviews and tests and has been officially completed and delivered.
